HARRY Redknapp has tipped Villa star Jack Grealish to ‘play at the very top level’.
Former Tottenham manager Redknapp knows Spurs wanted the Villa captain last summer.
Villa held out but just when it looked like Grealish would be heading to White Hart Lane, his moved was blocked.
New owners Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris moved in to Villa Park and refused to sell Grealish.
It will be a different story this summer if Premier League clubs come calling again and Villa do not win promotion from the Championship.

And Redknapp told TalkSport that Grealish would light up the top flight wherever he ends up.
But he knows Tottenham were keen.
Ex-Birmingham manager Redknapp said: “Apparently they were going to take him, weren’t they?”
“The club was in trouble and maybe Daniel Levy thought he could really get him very cheaply.
“Then the new owners came into Villa and they didn’t need the money suddenly.
“I love Grealish, I think he’s a real talent, honestly. I love watching him play. I think he’s a kid who could play at the very top level.”
