VILLA midfielder John McGinn has been tipped to be a key man at international level this week.
McGinn is back on top form after his two-match suspension and has helped inspire victories over Birmingham, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough.
But Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas says McGinn can take those sort of displays into the Scotland team this week when they face Kazakhstan in their opening Euro 2020 qualifier on Thursday.
Nicholas said: “If you look at where Scotland will win this game, we have inexperienced goalkeepers, so Scott Bain has to play.
“We also have inexperienced defenders with no Andrew Robertson. Stuart Armstrong, Callum McGregor and John McGinn will be in midfield, so I am pretty confident,”
