VILLA midfielder Conor Hourihane reckons Keinan Davis is the most impressive of the club’s rising young stars.
The 21-year-old forward made his debut for Villa as a sub in the FA Cup tie at Tottenham two years ago.
And his full League debut came early the following season.
But although he has made only two appearances this season, Hourihane says Davis is ready to realise his full potential.
Davis played 30 times last season under former manager Steve Bruce.
And Hourihane told the club’s official website: “In my opinion. He did brilliantly for us last season.
“He led the line for us until Grabban came in during the January transfer window.“He was very, very good. He was that focal point for us – big, strong, powerful and he can finish, too.
“He’s not got going so far this season due to little, niggly injuries but I really think he’s got a bright future. And, importantly too, he’s a lovely lad.”
Hourihane believes fitness is the key for Davis.
The Irishman added: “If he can get over these fitness issues, he’ll be a good asset for the club.
