PUNDIT Liam Rosenior says on-loan Villa striker Tammy Abraham is a ‘natural born goalscorer’.
Abraham was on target against Blackburn Rovers to bring his season’s total to 22 as Villa stayed on course for a play-off place.
The 21-year-old Chelsea striker did it in front of watching England boss Gareth Southgate who has clearly earmarked Abraham as one to watch for the future.
And Rosenior gave Abraham a glowing report on Sky Sports.
He said: “He reads where the ball is going to go before anyone else.
“It’s like he teleports into a position where defenders can’t get to him.
“That’s a natural gift that not many strikers have. You can’t teach that to young strikers.
“He is just a natural born goalscorer. I think he can do it at a higher level. I think he is Premier League quality and I think the time he had at Swansea stood him in really good to stead.
“It didn’t quite work for him at Swansea, but he’s come back at a huge club in Aston Villa with a massive bang.
“Hopefully, from Villa’s point of view, they can be in the Premier League with him.”
