VILLA boss Dean Smith admits he would consider resting Scotland midfielder John McGinn – to stop him being suspended for the play-offs.
McGinn is currently on 13 bookings and two more in the League would result in a three match suspension.

If he were to collect a 15th in the final game of the season against Norwich then he would miss a potential three play-off games.
Smith said: “It’d depend on where we were in the league at that time and whether we were mathematically certain of the play-offs.
“If he gets one on Friday against Bolton, I’ll start worrying then. At the moment, I don’t need to.
