Elmo: We want 100 per cent finish

By Graham Hill

AHMED Elmohamady has set his sights on finishing the Championship season with another three wins as they head into the play-offs.

Villa produced a record-equalling ninth successive win at Bolton on Friday when goals from Jack Grealish and Tammy Abraham sealed another three points.

And victory over Millwall on Monday would rewrite the record books and all but confirm their place in the top six.

But Elmohamady says Villa want to keep their momentum going right to the start of May.

Full-back Elmo told Villa’s official TV channel: “We have to just focus on Monday now.

“Our target is to finish as high as we can. It’s three games now. We want three wins.

“Every game is crucial – all three of them remaining. The manager has said it – take it game by game – and he’s right.”

And the Egyptian says he is in unchartered territory now.

He added: “It was good to get the nine wins. I’ve never experienced nine on the spin before.

“I’ve really enjoyed it. Hopefully we can make it 10 on Monday.

“But now we have to just focus on the next match. That’s going to be a tough one.

“Everyone is playing with confidence. But we have to keep focus and keep winning.”
