VILLA are reported to be weighing up a move for Angers’ Cameroon striker Stephane Bahoken.
The player has been in form for the French side in Ligue 1 this season, netting 10 goals.
Villa will be in the market to strengthen their forward line this summer when Tammy Abraham returns to Chelsea.
Derby, Sheffield United and Swansea have also been eyeing Bahoken, 26, according to the Sunday Mirror who also say Villa are keen.
But several factors have to come into play for Villa boss Dean Smith.
If Villa are promoted through the play-offs then Abraham could be persuaded to stay – although it looks likely that Chelsea would be unwilling to sell with a transfer embargo on the horizon.
Also, Brentford forward Neal Maupay is widely expected to be reunited with former Bees boss at Villa Park next season.
