THE good news from the Villa camp is that Dean Smith has a virtually fully fit squad of players to choose from ahead of the Championship Play-off final.
Only Norway keeper Orjan Nyland is ruled out due to his long term Achilles injury.
That means Tammy Abraham and Tyrone Mings – who have both had injuries of varying degrees over the past few weeks – are both available to face Derby County at Wembley.
Smith will have had almost two weeks to make sure any injury worries can be sorted out before the game. And it looks as if there are no fresh scares which means the Villa boss only has to concentrate on what will be his best starting line up.
Inevitably that will mean some disappointed faces on the bench – or left out of the match day squad altogether.
But Smith says he would rather have that than be short of key players going into their biggest game of the season.
