VILLA are believed to have clinched their first signing of the summer with Kortney Hause’s move from Wolves all but finalised.
And Tyrone Mings’ loan deal could also be close to being done.
Boss Dean Smith has long tippled both players to sign permanent deals at Villa Park – with Hause’s move likely to have been done even if Villa were still in the Championship.
According to Football Insider, Hause is set to sign after he joined on loan from Wolves in January after a verbal agreement was put in place.
Hause stepped up to the plate when Axel Tuanzebe was injured and impressed Smith enough to earn a contract.
The London-born defender made 12 appearances for Villa including one as a sub in the Championship Play-off final
Mings is also heading for Villa with Bournemouth showing no signs of taking him back following his successful loan spell.
The player has made it clear he wants to stay after becoming a fans’s favourite since arriving in January. And there have been suggestions on social media that a deal for Mings is all but complete.
