VILLA are poised to announce as many as three signings early this week if all goes to plan.
Loan deals for Anwar El Ghazi, Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause could be made permanent within days.
Dutch sources claimed on Saturday night that an £8million move for El Ghazi had been completed.
That would take him from Lille to Villa after a successful spell under Dean Smith.
Mings’ proposed move to Villa depends on a £15million bid being accepted by Bournemouth but – as things stand – there is nothing to suggest that the move will not go through.
Hause is reported by Football Inside to have agreed a £30,000 a week deal at Villa.
That would take him from Wolves to Villa Park in a £3million move.
Smith is looking to get much of his transfer business done this month with a major squad rebuild to be done before the start of the new season in two months.
The Villa boss is also said to be looking to raid former club Brentford for two players – Algerian winger Said Benrahma and French striker Neal Maupay.
As well as that, Jota has already made the move from Blues but Villa have also been linked with a string of players both at home and abroad.
That comes with the territory after winning promotion to the Premier League.
One of the most exciting of those links is for Celta Vigo’s Uruguay striker Maxi Gomez whose value appears to be anywhere between £35-43million. In truth, that would represent a huge leap in terms of spending but Villa are now able to bring in a marquee signing if they need to.
West Ham, Tottenham and Valencia are also said to be interested.
It remains to be seen whether that transfer can be done once more immediate moves for Villa’s loan players are sealed.
