VILLA’s pre-season friendly with Minnesota United ended in a 3-0 win for Dean Smith’s side.
Skipper Jack Grealish gave Villa the lead with two late goals coming from Henri Lansbury and Birkir Bjarnason.
The game saw boss Dean Smith play different line-ups in each half.
Grealish curled in the opener during the first half and Lansbury converted a cross from new French defender Frederic Guilbert.

Bjarnason’s goal came in the final minute when he headed home a cross from Andre Green.
New signings Matt Targett, Ezri Konsa, Jota and Wesley all made debut appearances for Villa but there was no place for £9million defender Bjorn Engels.
Villa travel back to the UK on Thursday and play Shrewsbury on Sunday before a midweek clash at Walsall.
