FORMER Villa striker Alan McInally has highlighted the player he thinks will be a ‘superstar’ this season.
McInally hailed the signing of keeper Tom Heaton has great business for Villa.
But he believes the real revelation at Villa Park will be defender Ezri Konsa.
The England Under-21 international moved from Brentford to Villa in a £10million deal last month.
And McInally told Sky Sports News the 21-year-old is one to watch.

McInally said: “It’s a lot of players to bring in, but you’d like to think they’ve got quality this time, they’ll need them and they’ll have to be pretty good.
“I’ll throw one name in, and I said this to Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday last season, the boy Ezri Konsa, who they got from Brentford, fingers crossed, I’m not normally wrong, I think this boy’s a superstar.”
McInally also believes the £8.5million Heaton cost Villa will also be money well spent.
He added: “And in Tom Heaton, the keeper, I think that’s fantastic business, two or three years ago, he was one of the top two or three goalkeepers in the Premier League. He was brilliant for Burnley and I’d expect him to be fantastic here as well.”
