McGinn and Grealish so effective

I can’t believe how Villa’s season has turned around in such a short space of time.

Hand on heart, I didn’t expect to be anywhere near the play-offs this season – I fell into the camp that thought Dean Smith should be given the summer to rebuild the squad, then let’s see what happens.

But Jack Grealish’s return could not have come at a better time, and he looks fitter than I’ve seen him for a while.

But the fact that John McGinn is producing some of his best form of the season as a result Grealish coming back into the side is a an added bonus.

I was worried that there seemed to be divisions in the camp a few weeks ago, but Jack seems to have united us again and there’s nothing like results to change the mood.

We can’t stop now, let’s put together a serious play-off bid!

Jack is the key to play-offs

I just cannot believe how much one player seems to have improved Aston Villa.

It just shows how much Villa have missed Jack Grealish over the past three months.

You wonder where we’d be in the table now if Jack had been available during that time. It’s hard to think about but now we have to make the most of a fit again Grealish over the last few weeks of the season.

All the other results went our way while we were beating Derby, now we have to take advantage, particularly with Blues, Forest and Middlesbrough coming up.

I’m still keeping the faith, play offs here we come!

FRUSTRATING!

I can’t see where this Villa side are going at the moment. We seem to have too many individuals rather than playing as a team. And even when we do score goals, the opposition seem to match us. The summer can’t come soon enough for me as it looks like we’re just treading water.
